About Us
The EmpowHER Piece is an upcoming non-profit mentorship organization created to give today’s girls a safe place to grow, heal, and discover who they truly are. We focus on confidence, self-identity, emotional wellness, and real-life readiness — the core pieces girls need but rarely get taught.
Our program supports girls ages 6–18, with our first cohort being teen girls, ages 12-18, from all walks of life on their life’s journey. With a custom-built curriculum by our founder, group sessions, hands-on activities, a custom 1-on-1 chat app, and supportive certified mentors, we help young girls learn who they are, what they stand for, and how to show up confidently in the world.

The EmpowHER Piece Mentor Recruit Brunch is a purpose-filled gathering designed for women who feel called to pour into the next generation of girls. This event is the official launch of our 2026 mentorship year and the first opportunity to join The EmpowHER Piece as a mentor.
During the brunch, you’ll get an inside look at how our program works, the impact mentors make, and what it truly means to guide a girl. You’ll meet other like-minded women, hear the mission behind the movement, and learn how you can step into a role that changes lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m Theresa Bailey, the heart behind EmpowHER. Creativity has always been in me, but purpose is what drives me. I’m a Grand Prairie girl, the baby of eight, and my life has always been centered around leadership, impact, and using my voice to uplift others. Over the years I’ve spoken at schools, worked directly with youth, and became a certified Youth Development Leader and Trauma-Informed Care Leader — all to better serve the next generation.
For over five years, I built a successful graphic design and branding business. I loved creating and helping others grow, but eventually God shifted my heart from building brands to building futures. Transitioning out of design wasn’t easy, but it was necessary — my purpose was calling me deeper.
My journey is what shaped this program. Growing up, I didn’t always have someone to talk to about girlhood, confidence, or life. Both of my parents battled serious health challenges, yet still poured into me. My siblings and I created our “Ted Talks,” giving each other a safe place to process life — the same big-sister energy I want every girl to feel here.
I also learned that sometimes strangers become your village. People showed up for me in my hardest seasons and reminded me who I was when I forgot. That’s where I learned the true power of community.
As a teen, I struggled to find my voice while battling judgment, generational cycles, and serious menstrual health issues that doctors couldn’t explain. I’ll never forget hearing, “You’re not getting enough oxygen to your brain… I don’t understand how you’re functioning.” But God had the final word: You have a purpose.
Everything I’ve lived through led me here.
EmpowHER is that purpose — the safe space I needed growing up.
A place for girls to heal, discover themselves, and rise with confidence.
